On 8th July 1995 a young star was born and after years of trying to get his music out there, Chris Mallette is finally having success.

Mallette grew up in Hull in Yorkshire, England with his family and from a young age he was always into music. In school plays at school he always got the leading roles and at high school he studied GCSE Music and Music Technology which took him on trips all over the world, including La where he got to meet famous producers. Mallette has a Grade 5 for Trumpet and is also a very talented guitar and keyboard player. He is self taught playing the guitar but that is what seems to be getting him all his success currently.

At the age of 14, Mallette began playing in a band with his friends in a spare room that was inside an old gym that was used as storage for the community. They started recording their music on their phones and uploading the tracks onto YouTube. Often the tracks were played to the school in assembly but it was obvious that Mallette playing lead guitar and vocalist was going to be a success. His music teacher took him to a side and told him this and she helped him develop his already amazing skills.

In 2010, at the age of 15, Mallette entered a talent competition at a local club. Although he didn't win (he came third to two 26 year olds) there was a talent scout there from an independent record label XL Recordings. They are the label for Adele, The XX and Vampire Weekend amongst others. XL got Mallette the break he needed and after moving him to London to start recording his debut album, Warner Bros started sniffing around.

In 2012 at the age of 17, Warner Bros signed Mallette to their subsidiary label Atlantic Records with a 4 album deal and he is due to release his debut album this summer. Not only is he signed to a great label but he is now in a league with artists such as Flo Rida, Paramore, Trey Songz, Cody Simpson, Plan B, Fun and many more.

In February 2013, Mallette was approachd by Fueled by Ramen, a New York based record label/brand and they have signed him on a two year deal.
